So that's what you guys have been up to!

April 27, 2008 | 10:51 PM by DepuTV John MacMillan, site observation team, Denman Island, British Columbia, Canada

Hey, love the map. Cool. Just one little problem - maybe. Is it supposed to be a "Roatrip" or a "Roadtrip"? Isn't there supposed to be a "d" in there somewhere?

Hey Tom, thanks for all this stuff. I was chatting again with Derek (Minister of info) this morning, and had a good chat with Deputy Jayner this afternoon. I never would have known of these people if'n it wasn't for you, sir. Awesome!

So the clip from SF still isn't loading for us. I wouldn't sweat that too much. If it can work easily that's great. If not no big deal for now. If it were me, I'd be going live more, even if it's not so 'professional' looking. I'd have cameras on almost all the time, just acting "normal" and casual, too. Like that 750 hour broadcast you've threatened before... but of course film stuff for later, just not to cut the live feed for a while...

But hey, that's just me. You do what you're gonna do, alright?

OK man, see ya later. Hope you can go live sometime this evening...

Dude I saw your live feed with OOZI

April 27, 2008 | 06:07 PM by Patrick hakeem, Montreal

So Tom are you coming to Montreal, do I have to make a video. I mean I'm the guy who skyped from a Bar when Gene Simmons was on, I'm the guy who threw snowballs at cars when Ryan Pinkston was on, I'm the guy who tried to get Mcs to rap for TOO $hort. I'm the guy who skyped from a fucking IGLOO!! AN IGLOO!!!!

I've also advertised for the channel by interviewing you for Under Pressure Magazine.

Come to Montreal, The women are unbelievable just ask your boy Anthony from the Shlabi Effect to confirm. If not for you or for me. Do it for Victor he deserves to meet beautiful loose French Canadian women. Poor guy has been working Hard. I can set up a venue where we could have a DJ Spinning records, women, Rock Bands, some Mc's it will be off the chain. Orion will be there, you can talk about you train ride when you were 16 to NY I think we can easily make Montreal one of the Highlights of your trip. Tell me what you think T

I sure am glad I found this website

April 27, 2008 | 05:31 PM by Jyllian, PA

Its just great.
Tom, I use to love the Tom Green show back in the 90s when it was on (and still do) especially things you would go around on the street and shock or annoy people...it was HILARIOUS, but i have always wondered if there was ever an incident that turned bad...one that you said "oh no what have i gotten myself into"
also been enjoying watching your new online show as well..
thanks so much!
Jyll

Thanks man! Yeah, I have that feeling quite often. Stay tuNED. LOTS OF FUNNY BITS WE ARE GETTING ON THE ROAD!
Where you headed?

April 27, 2008 | 03:08 PM by Roos, Davis, CA

Yo man, saw you down by the bay in SF yesterday (hence the picture). If by chance you're headed east on highway 80 (towards Sacramento), you should stop by Davis and hang out for a few, maybe we can skate it up a little. Anyway, hope the RV is treatin you well, good seein you yesterday. Peace

What time are u on?

April 27, 2008 | 01:22 PM by Mike Greenwood, Nashua NH

hey tom, just wonderin if u have a regular time your tryin to come on while on the road, or if ur just doin it whenever you feel...i know youll post it but i wanna catch it live ya know.

Big screen broadcast in Salem

April 27, 2008 | 12:55 PM by Ross Swartzendruber, Salem, Oregon

Hi Tom,
If you're swinging through Oregon and like to broadcast your show on the big screen, I can get you a venue at Northern Lights Theatre Pub in Salem.
http://northernlightstheatrepub.com/
We are screening Carnival of Souls there May 2 as part of the weekly Friday Monster Madness series.
We have broadcast skype interviews with our European directors there during the annual video festival.
http://mvvfest.org/
If you decide to come up north and want to push the technology, reply and we'll set up a skype session. I can probably get you venues in Eugene and Portland, too.
Ross

North!

April 27, 2008 | 12:37 PM by annette, victoria

Keep going, Tom! Head North then climb aboard BC Ferries or even better, go to Port Angeles, WA past the Olympic Mountains and take the Coho. It's a GIANT tub named after a fish - a salmon - take the salmon right into downtown Victoria. We'll set up the club with mics and dj's n'stuff when you get here!

loving the road trip potential

April 27, 2008 | 09:57 AM by Ben Bourgeois, Milwaukee Wisconsin

Hey Tom, I was just watching your first videos on the road and it's pretty exciting. I've been trying to assemble a video for you including footage from a video I made for you back on MTV when you went to someones house who sent in the best video...unfortunately I didn't win that, but i thought you'd get a kick out of seeing me promote years ago and today..just hope I can get it loaded up soon enough!

Lost on the Central Coast

April 26, 2008 | 10:45 PM by Nick, Pacific Grove , CA

Very cool watching you broadcast live while driving around in my neck of the woods. Looked like you were going in circles for a bit there between Seaside and Sand City (Home Depot - Coscto) A few weeks back when you asked for reasons to come to "your town" i couldn't think of any but this was fun to see. If you are taking the same route home give a little notice, I have some gifts I have been meaning to send down to you. Peace- nick
Safe journeys

We won't be taking the same route back. We will be heading east I believe... I think... we will see...
Come To My Town!!!

April 26, 2008 | 10:38 PM by Joel Murphy, Cleveland Ohio

Hey Tom-
I am writing you to request that you COME TO MY TOWN! :) You may or may not remember me. I called you when you were the host of the "Midnight Caller" show on CHUO in Ottawa. I called you from Massena NY and requested "Rose Bush Daddy". You put me on the air. It was awesome. That was in June 1994. Well, these days I'm a "big time dj" (hardy har har) on Kiss FM in Cleveland Ohio. I would love to have you pop by my house and/or show.

Email me for directions!

javajoelmurphy@gmail.com

Be safe on those roads, Tom.

Joel Murphy, Cleveland Ohio

Wow. Rose Bush Daddy. That is an amazing reference, and perhaps one of the most obscure call backs I have ever gotten on here. (Rose Bush Daddy was a song by Organized Rhyme, that was never released and recorded in my basement when I was in highschool) Hilarious. Glad to hear you are doing well in radio! Stay tuned!

I talked to Minister Derek about Tom Green today

April 26, 2008 | 07:40 PM by DepuTV John the Audioarchivist, co-fan chatter, Denman Island, British Columbia, Canada

Hey guys! How is it now?
I just got a cool call from Derek, the Minister of Tom Green information, on Skype today. We were talking new technology, film school, all things Tom Green, cat toilet tricks, and of course farting...
Apparently there'sa a rumour going around that I farted during our first mobile studio test from the patio of your house. At about 55 seconds into my video of our test call from my perspective, the Skype jitters and freezes and skips for a few seconds. Then there is this funny little squeaking sound. It was Skype, not me!
Honestly, I have been known to fart before, believe me, but I can't say they've ever really sounded like that.
It was Skype - not me.
Either way, it's a good thing this is web-o-vision, not smell-o vision!
But it really wasn't flatus. Honest. You'll know when it's a real fart!!!

You guys should flip the switch again before the night's over again, hey???

See ya then!

It was me.
awesome

hi tom. i find it amazing that i just saw some car drive down some street in seaside ca. i could never of guessed when i woke up this morning that i would of seen that sight and also that the decision you make of where to go you are also making the decision of where i see. is it just me who thinks thats amazing?

Nope. We think it is amazing also.
We met you in Frisco

April 26, 2008 | 06:44 PM by Tisha Brownlee, Los Osos, Ca.

We ran into you at the Golden Gate Bridge and got to check out your set up in the RV. Thanks, that was awesome! Of all our trips to SF, this tops it! My husband and I have checked out most of your projects throughout the last decade so it was great to run into you. It's too bad he missed you skating the hills of SF-a skate session would have takin the cake. Good luck in all your ventures! Stay funny!

The skate session will be up on the site tomorrow. Just bombed a hill. It was fun. Nice meeting you guys! Follow along with our trip the next few days! Just watch for new updates on the site here.

Live on the Road

April 26, 2008 | 04:06 PM by Simon Williams, England

Tom, I was lucky enough to catch you live earlier. You've got a cool set-up in the RV. That was funny when the women in the car completely blanked you! Have you thought about putting a huge 'tomgreen.com' sign or banner on the side of the RV to help spread the word? I imagine that thousands of people would end up seeing it during the course of your travels.

Over the bridge to who knows what!

April 26, 2008 | 03:52 PM by DepuTV John MacMillan, proud team member, Denman island, British Columbia Canada

Wow. There is some deep metaphoric stuff about crossing a bridge while cracking a new piece of history and broadcasting the whole experience live to the world! Tom, you guys are going where no man has gone before! It's awesome that it's working for real. hello random people of the world! Hi Uzi! Good to meet you! And your momma called, how sweet! More porn on mom and dad's car! Oh I'm sure they'll love that!
I bet most people won't know what hit them! You're live to what from where again now? I can see stuff happening everyday like this in ten years or something, but right now there's some pretty funny looks when you roll up to a stoplight and say to the car next to you "Hey, d'ya wanna go live on the internet right now???"
I've heard of porno movies that start out kinda like that: "Hey baby, do ya wanna come on my big RV and see my video, uh, equipment???"

Right on, man. It's working. Good on you all!

Hey I wanted to inform people who want some advance warning about Tom going Live! There are two things you can do:
If you use Mozilla Firefox, there is a plug-in you can install that will pop-up a warning box telling you that "Tom Green is about to go live!" a few minutes before they flick the switch.
There has also been a Yahoo group set up to automatically send emails to the user list when a member sends out a mass email warning that things are happening. You can put a cell phone email as your contact and get live notices from other members of when Tom green is live. Check it out:
http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/TomGreenIsLive/
Sign up and get email live notice of Web-o-vision appearance.

Have fun as a Canadian in the USA speaking to Chinese people (just don't offend Harland Williams!) and eat some Chinese food for lunch. But be prepared to stop for a snack in an hour!

cool. thanks John.

Gotcha LIVE

April 26, 2008 | 03:14 PM by JonesB, the beach

Hi Tom. That was really cool today. I think that Uzi guy was pretty cool. You should pick up more people like that and have them all blow you in the back. I don't know, just an idea. Also, you could pick up an obese woman and have her stay in the back and you guys could take turns feeding her. This would happen whenever the all blowing wasn't going on.

Enjoy your trip. It is very fun to watch. I will try to come up with more ideas for you guys.

April 26, 2008 | 01:47 PM by berutha bernstein, woodland hills

north east of san francisco is the third state capital of california, Benicia. Go down may street. Norwin is familiar w/ location. great food in cafe. jack london based his novels on characters who faught on barges docked in benicia. town next door is vallejo, named after general vallejo, major character in founding of this area and california. benicia is named after his wife. must go to Sonoma at the square. historical fort right there. great restaurants and free wine tasting all around area. down the street is general vallejo's residence. don't miss it. they give complete info on vallejo and how he is related to entire area and california- his importance. most people do not know anything about this. you will get more ideas for you trip by going there. you are also helping to promote this kind of travel in a motor home. great fun. i don't know if you want to get into politics, but why the hell aren't our representatives suggesting ways for us to control oil companies by the people banning together and boycotting one station (exmple Chevron) at a time, to bring down prices, so we can travel. also, would you be kind enough to let norwin know, while I was playing your vidio on the road, Spanky heard his voice and came over to the computer. Spanky is the only boy of seven cats. thank you for reading this and i sincerely hope my suggestions are helpful to you. you have a very cool idea. everyone loves travel and to be able to do it in a home on the road is the best fun, we think. but with the cost of gas, our very own country reps are suffacating our economy by not keeping down gas prices. it is up to the people. you are in a perfect situation to start something. what do you think? show people what it costs to fill up a gas tank. what is our govmt. doing to help us. while you are on the road, show what you can do. if you have an american express business card, find a costco. their gas is the least expensive. they say you can only fill up to $75. / fill up. they will have to change that policy, very quickly. so you start the pump again, i suppose. you also get 5% back at the end of the year, if it is a business card, 3% if it is a regular card. I guess I better stop, telling you what to do. Have fun and tell Norwin to relax on camera. berutha
