I landed in New Zealand today. I am here in the country for the first time and am excited about the next few weeks ahead. I will be performing in Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington. As a Canadian I can already see that it is a lot like home. I always find it interesting when I travel to commonwealth countries because there are surprising similarities in the cities architecture and many of the customs.
But it’s the differences that are more interesting to me anyway. So who cares about all that right mates? Let’s do something ridiculous together! Over the next two weeks I will be out and about talking to people and trying to figure out what makes you Kiwi’s tick. If you want to come find me give me a tweet! I brought my video camera and will most likely be wandering around the city and countryside making short videos for my website and youtube channel. If you are in New Zealand see if you can track me down and be on one of these videos. It’s like a game of “tag” for the techie cell phone addicted social media video generation. In fact if I knew what was good for me I probably wouldn’t be doing this. When you really think about it this, could go horribly wrong. But I have made a lot of bad decisions in my life so why stop now? More often than not my bad ideas have ended up leading to a lot of fun anyway. So let’s play a game New Zealand!

This is the full one hour episode detailing my battle with testicular cancer. This happened in the year 2000 and I am alive, and cancer free. If you or anyone you know is dealing with cancer, specifically testicular cancer, you should watch this show. As I tour around the country doing stand up today I meet a great many testicular cancer survivors who credit this episode as the motivation for seeing their doctor and spotting their disease before it was too late. Always see a doctor immediately if you feel like something is wrong in your body. Early detection is the key.
