QUINCY: Could this man be Tom Green LIVE’s Boston correspondant?

Thursday, January 18th, 2007

….Will “The Channel” decide to be the one that gives “QUINCY Brisco” his big break? The man, myth and legend has already conquered public access television, and has gotten his massive feet wet on YouTube. With his rabid local fanbase, and rapid-fire ecentric wit, it is envitable that, given a shot and utilized properly, he could be the next big thing. All of the videos that show up here are by me unless otherwise noted - and when I say “by” I mean when the projects have either been produced, directed, edited, shot, or generally orchestrated primarily by yours truly. At times, I collaborate with good friends of mine who happen to be entrenched in the TV industry as well, or who have talent in the realm of artistic video. With permission those team efforts will show up here as well, with pleasure. The video I’m about to share, however, I had zero to do with, but is by one of my best friends, who is a frequent production partner of mine and who works in big time cable television. This video was just far too “Tom Green-esque” for me not to share it with you guys - my friends and fans, on THIS video blog. If Tom digs this, well, all I have to say is there is more to come!

“A rare (thank goodness) 2002 performance of my bare bones musical stylings on Stoneham/Woburn Access television. This was taken from the program titled “The Local Pit”.”

Tuesday, January 16th, 2007

Here’s a piece that I put together for our 2005 New Year’s special that aired live on Wellesley’s public access channel. Much thanks to Lawrence Hollie for co-producing it with me, and throwing this up on Quincy Brisco’s YouTube page.

Krazy Jay & Andrew in Accent Excess (from INSUBORDINATE #4)

Tuesday, January 16th, 2007

Come hang with us on the couch (if you dare): This is a surreal, wacked-out segment from INSUBORDINATE #4, featuring a barrage of acidic visuals, coupled with generous amounts of good ol' punk rock tomfoolery and a poor attempt at sounding either English or Scottish. This segment includes the sights, sounds and smells of Lawrence Hollie, James Lee King Jr, Andrew Leone, Wayne Langford-Rogers, Mike Whalen, Mike Phelan O'Toole, and Noel, not to mention the music of DJ BENNY (A/K/A the heart that keeps this video pumping).

INSUBORDINATE is produced, shot and edited by Mike Phelan O'Toole and CathARTistry Creative/Insubordinate Industries.

WAYNE in Jump 4 Your Life (from INSUBORDINATE #4)

Tuesday, January 16th, 2007

Wayne Langford-Rogers is dropped in a surreal, alternate universe, where his only means of survival exists in utilizing his keen po-goin’ skills. Featuring a cameo from James Lee King Jr (Krazy Jay) and Lawrence Hollie - this is a segment from the public access show INSUBORDINATE #4.

DJ BENNY of Newton, MA provides the soundtrack. Wayne Langford-Rogers provides the pogo-goodness.

Rising local talent DJ BENNY provides the soundtrack.
