I’ve decided to make Video Demos of my songs. It’s exactly what it sounds like. I write a song, and then i’ll videotape myself playing through it. Nothing big just me on acoustic going through the song, and giving some insight to what it’s about. I’m gonna do this for 2 reasons. 1 is to just be able to document my new ideas quicker so that i dont forget things later and the other is to get feedback from you guys. So

and by the way, these random pictures that show up with blogs are kind of annoying. I re-posted this one like 4 times and just got different pictures each time. I’ll leave this one i guess, but just know it ain’t got anything to do with anything.

Ok so this is about 20 minutes of footage edited down to about 4 and a half minutes, but you will get the picture. Basically me non-stop calling tom green the day he put his phone back on. Check out the madness!

Just me trying to play w/ my dog at 11:30 at night one night.

OK First of all sorry for the lack of video. School has started again, and I’ve been hit with a wave as well. Not like a giant wave that sends me 30 yards across volcanic rock, but a wave of HUGE tests and homework that is above normal level. The other thing that’s been going on this week is figuring out a way to become 18 to get into a Dresden Dolls concert on Saturday, which is cleared up now. This weekend I’ll have time to upload video from this week (like trying to call tom!)

i’m also gonna do like a Making The Song kind of thing where I’ll tape the entire process of me recording a song (it will be the “www.tomgreen.com”
song that got me this deputy status.)

ANYWAYS what this post is about also is Phones. How do they work? SOmetimes when I call Tom it doesn’t ring it just goes to “Full voicemail..” thing, other times, it’s a dial tone, and other times it rings 7 or 8 times mostly to no effect. I even did 2 hour long rounds (one last night, one tonight) going from houes fone to cell fone hitting redial on the other fone everytime the one i was on at the moment went to voicemail.

It seems impossible that none of these calls would go through! but hey I’m going against thousands of people… but it’s still nuts.

SO I stayed up to watch Tom on Jay Leno, which was awesome. I was trying to call since 4:30 (when he said he’d have the phone on) up until 12:30 (there WERE many breaks in between, though 11:30-12:30 was constant. Watching the show and calling at hte same time)

THEN I finally ended watching the show since his segment ended, ran up to check the blog only to see a post called “Darn It”, telling us that his phone has BROKEN!

Kind of a relief, just cuz paranoid ol’ me thought maybe he blocked my number for trying to call so much! But he wouldn’t do that. He’s Tom Green.

So anyway that’s the update on life and phones. If you understand how phones work or just wanna comment on anything, e-mail me! (my e-mail address is at the right)

That’s all for now, it’s Friday finally (12:33am)! Time to finish my homework and get the hell to sleep

I have literally been calling for about an hour. Call… ring… no answer… hang up..redial.. repeat!

it’s insane!

I tried to video tape each attempt to call but after about half hour of tape i decided to put the camera down nearby.. if he DOES pick up then i will try to get some of it. it’s 12:20 am. I have been calling since about 11:00 pm so I think i’ll put in a couple more tries, then sleep, trying again soon.

This is fun, I’ll never be bored again because if i have nothing to do i will just try calling!!

and if he does pick up, then i can spend bored moments remembering how awesome it was that he picked up!!

man this is crazy.

Cell phones. The internet.. the channel.

Tom’s the god of all things media, i have to say.

now tom, JUST PICK UP THE PHONE!!
