These postcards are emails to our members of Congress asking them to support a nonviolence bill. Last year it had 75 co-sponsors from Congress and it’s being re-introduced on Feb 5th to Congress again.

The bill is about proactive approaches to reducing violence in our country.

One of the objectives of the peace bill woud be to require violence prevention and communication/mediation classes be taught in elementary schools.

The bill would develop organized policies to address the ruling issues of domestic and gang violence, child abuse, prisoner rehabilitation and supports the military.

It’s a Federal approach to waging peace. By creating a Non Violence Department in our own country - peace supporters have more influence and can create real change.
