keep pen & pad handy all the time
dunno why he’s always on my mind
a good muse today
a friend in some way
space sometimes creates tension
beyond apprehension
distance other times allows freedom to be
easier to be happy
with an idealistic fantasy
unknown is the true reality
cannot see
the possible result of a current interaction in physicality
just one day
so far away
it happened in the past
& went away so fast
a single question
caused the reaction aghast
years of reflection
for a momentary imperfection
feelin’ like it caused a bust
in a possible depth of trust
not lookin’ back with regret
yet
with the present just cannot forget
picking up the pieces of a broken clock
gonna hafta get a new one
find the key to release these emotions which seem to be on lock
in the meantime just have some fun.
