If we do not change our daily lives,
we cannot change the world.
-Thich Nhat Hanh

Youth is happy because it has the ability to see beauty.
Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old.
-Franz Kafka

We are all more than we know. Wholeness is never lost, it is only forgotten.
Integrity rarely means that we need to add something to ourselves; it is more an undoing than a doing, a freeing ourselves from beliefs we have about who we are and ways we have been persuaded to “fix” ourselves to know who we genuinely are.
Even after many years of seeing, thinking, and living one way, we are able to reach past all that to claim our integrity and live in a way we may never have expected to live.
-Rachel Naomi Remen

It is perhaps a more fortunate destiny to have
a taste for collecting shells than to be born a millionaire.
-Robert L. Stevenson

If your morals make you dreary, depend on it, they are wrong.
-Robert L. Stevenson

Keep your fears to yourself, but share your courage with others.
-Robert L. Stevenson

Love is everything. It is the key to life, and
its influences are those that move the world.

malibu blues
————-
tears running down an empty river
torn inside the eternal forgiver
stuck in an empty land full of sinners
completely accomplished in being beginners
through this journey she rides and rides
bowbeaten and bruised with thorns in her sides
nothing can hide
the feelings deep inside
of being glued to the land of excremental waste
patience and hard work such a bitter taste
soulmate brain on the glittery sand
to get high on life, please lend a hand
there ain’t growin up in this here land
a break from the magic and back to the bland
it’s time to hoard up on tons of books
because nothin in this town has got the looks
stuck in a timewarp - keeps startin on 72’s
rollin backwards and stumbling all over the blues
mr. personality please lend those eyes
in this routine world, give the gift of surprise
clock’s moving foward time to get ahead
and do it all over again after crawlin outta that bed
remembering the life that was experienced wed
rarely felt here just dead to the head
one small step
one big prep
one giant leap
better buckle your seat.

Courage is the greatest of all the virtues. Because if you haven’t
courage, you may not have an opportunity to use any of the others.

Very Cool Quote

The hero is the one who kindles a great light in the world, who sets up blazing torches in the dark streets of life for men to see by.
The saint is the man who walks through the dark paths of the world, himself a light.

– Felix Adler
