Update + Thursday’s Film Event
Just wanted to update and let you know a little bit of what’s going on with me at the moment. Quite a few things are actually.
First off, I just want to mention that I am intending on doing everything I have planned. It just is taking me a bit longer than I expected to get everything executed; however, I am confident that it will be worth the wait. In the meantime, I will continue to shoot and post videos that I am able to with the current resources I have.
That being said, I will be getting two cameras, which I am extremely excited about. They are both being given as gifts, so as soon as I receive them, you will definitely know about it. One I believe, shoots to mini-dv’s. The other one is a SUPER 8!! I really love vintage films and music, so I know I’m going to have a lot of fun with that one.
What else.. well.. on a side note.. I am acting in a pilot that is being shot for FX this weekend. As soon as I get more information on that I will post it.
I’m also in communication with a filmmaker about being in some sort of action/adventure film.
Also, I’ve been having rehearsals here and there for a science fiction film I’m in. This is probably going to be shot sometime in the early fall, I’m assuming.
I’m more than halfway through editing that feature I may or may have not mentioned at some point or another.
This thursday, Indie Film Club of South Florida (the group I help run) is hosting a free networking event.
In addition, there will be a screening of the indepdent film “Broken”, followed by Q&A.
If you are in the South Florida area & would like to get involved in the indepedent film industry, this is a great place to meet other’s with the same passion.
