TomGreen.com Internet Feedback Loop - almost lost in time

July 1st, 2009

I found it interesting to watch behind the scenes tonight, seeing Tom and Victor working on the fresh YouTube page. I started recording when Tom mentioned that they were not recording. I captured another one of those moments in web-0-vision history that almost got away from us all!

Pretty funny stuff when the looping segment starts at around 5 minutes into this clip. Almost lost forever, I’m glad I was around tonight!

Sometimes I forget…

June 28th, 2009

I remember Tom Green from the pre-MTV days. Once he went Stateside I could barely watch him anymore, since I didn’t get MTV. Sometimes I forget about his meteoric rise to “stardom” and all that stuff…

It is interesting to be reminded of this stuff, to see just how popular the guy really is!

It’s pretty wild to be a part of the website, and to be (even in such a remote way) a friend of Tom Green. Thank you.

Andrew “Dice” Clay, Tom Green, and me!

June 16th, 2009

Hey there, I had a great time talking to Andrew “Dice” Clay last night. Not exactly my life long ambition to talk to the guy, but still it was a pretty cool thing!

No, I’m not the other kind - not that there’s anything wrong with that, at least for them, but there’s sure something wrong with that for me! No, I just figured Andrew and Tom are buds, I seem to get along with Tom alright, so me and The DiceMan should probably get along too. Not in a sexytime way or nothing, just some bro’s from the same day and age, like we all went to high school together or some shit!rn

I was kinda planning to give myself a haircut on air, this would’ve been like the perfect moment to do it, but I decided that The DiceMan wouldn’t have been impressed after all and I chickened out!rn

I never let my wife have hair like this anyplace! haha! Hey - big thanks to Zack! You just saved me an hour or so of transcoding and editing! I’m glad you found these clips to be YouTube worthy!

Tom Green with Rob Schneider and Haylie Duff and DepuTV John the Audioarchivist

May 29th, 2009

A question for the PBS crowd… McNeil / Lehrer!

Another clip of me talking with Rob Schneider about a non-profit music foundation that he founded to promote music education in schools. http://www.robschneidermusicfoundation.org . . . Sorry, I didn’t mean to ask a PBS type question! . . . “Canadians can drink more than normal people, and I mean that in a really derogative way…” . . . “…Being wasted on the web-0-vision wasn’t always a good thing…”

That’s what it looked like for me. It’s a little different taking on Skype than talking to someone in person, and also a little different when it all hits the air.

Tom Green’s The Channel membership drive with me!

May 23rd, 2009

Tom Green’s first day of selling memberships to TomGreen.com The Channel. I called in trying to sell my hair from last year’s head shave special, then Tom resurrects “The Mustard Inspector” for me…

Tree Frog Radio 89.1 FM now online

May 15th, 2009

I’m semi-involved with this radio entity. It’s kind of a hit or miss affair, but it recently went online so I thought I’d try posting a link to it here, just in case I’m actually there late on a saturday night doing a live broadcast… Worth checking out! Tune in to Audioarchivist’s Bootleg Collection on Tree Frog Radio 89.1 online every saturday night after 10:30PM Pacific time, or other DJ’s sporadically throughout the week! http://www.ustream.tv/tfr891 Right on, rock on, take care! Here’s a link to my Tree Frog Radio page : http://www.ustream.tv/channel/audioarchivists-bootleg-collection Rock on, gang!

It’s a Surprise Show! Gnnnaaaaa! march 23 2009

March 24th, 2009

Where else can you tune on and get a surprise show? It’s a surprise!

Good times! It looks good in 3-D.

Me on Tom Green Live! with Buddy Lewis, Salvator Xuereb, and John Schneider!

March 14th, 2009

Here’s my little segment of last night’s show. It includes the secret false start to the program. Here I am again talking joblessness, audio screwups, hash oil, hockey, and joking.

I didn’t want to say that I am a professional bootlegger or work as a soundman. I am so poor I can barely pay attention. I don’t work with my own equipment, and what I have IS broken down oldschool crap. I make the best of the worst shitty stuff. All that and my “high speed” internetts hookup is the shits too. I’m working against a lot of factors. This shouldn’t be a reflection on my personal capabilities - I get up off my couch lots! haha

March 6 2009 Olivia Lee and Tom Green and ME!

March 7th, 2009

Pretty cool! I think that was the best week of web-0-vision I’ve ever seen! Very funny and good shows, and it turned me onto some new (to me) funny as hell people! I’m a fan of David Faustino’s Star-ving show now, and before this week I didn’t even know it existed. Of course Neil Hamburger and Orny Adams and Andy Milonakis I knew already, but again, thanks for getting Olivia Lee on - she’s damned funny (and cute too! haha)

Good Times! I have ideas besides getting off the couch, but they mostly aren’t web-o-vision friendly ideas! haha. Thanks again, and see you all next week! Check out the fan club at http://tomgreen.kicks-ass.org/dynamic/content

I know what a barrel roll is, and a Rick roll, but have you heard of a sausage roll?

January 30th, 2009

I can actually handle this kind of roll:

pretty creative
